I was looking forward to this trip since long our program conceived.... but it exceeded my expectations ... I can't speak highly enough of all the elements of this festival...
It really was the trip of a lifetime ... Couldn't have a dreamt of a better festival if i tried ...

• The Hornbill Festival, which is called the ‘Festivals of Festivals’, is a 10-day annual cultural fest of Nagaland that showcases the rich and diverse Naga ethnicity through folk dances, traditional music, local cuisine, handicraft, art workshops, etc.
• The Hornbill Festival provides a glimpse into the kaleidoscopic cultures and ethnicities of Nagaland and other states of North East India. All the tribes gather at the foothills of Mount Japfü, at the venue of the festival- Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, which is at a short distance from Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland.
• It is one of the largest indigenous festivals organized by the state government of Nagaland to promote tourism in the state.
